"I work for a major retailer. We have about 75000 SKUs. Due to this high number of merchandise purchase-to-pay transactions and complex pricing arrangements we suspect overpayment is occurring.

We are estimating about $900K $1 million in lost sales for every $1 billion in sales.

What have been the amounts of lost revenue you have seen?

We are doing an Accounts payable audit disbursements audit. We are reviewing payments on a historical or real-time basis and solicit vendor account statements to find payment errors
